Does Deezer work with Mac Shortcut automations?

Play my favorites shows as a Mac shortcut but when I try to run it it says Deezer must be installed.  Is the desktop download no a real app?

The macOS Shortcuts integration only recognizes the mobile Deezer app from the Mac App Store, not the standalone desktop version downloaded from the web.

  • Open your Applications folder.
  • Drag your current Deezer app to the Trash.
  • Open the App Store on your Mac.
  • Search for Deezer and download it directly from the App Store.
  • Launch the newly installed app, log in, and run your shortcut again.
