Deezer will not cast to Chromecast device: loading, almost there

When i click the Cast icon I get the “casting” tone on my Chromecast speaker and get a message on my device that says, “Loading… Almost there, only a few seconds left.” That’s it. Nothing more. Every other application where Chromecast is an option works flawlessly. I love the HiFi but this is a non-starter for me. Using Deezer over bluetooth to headphones is all I can use. That’s not enough.

Using Android version 10, security patch level: March 5,2020 on a Pixel 3a XL

Chromecast works on the competition: Spotify, LiveXLive, Amazon Prime Music, Google Play Music, Tidal and Pandora.

I had the same problem. The workaround I've found is cast audio with Google home.

I have iPhone with latest ios and Google Home. I can stream spotify to Chrome Cast onto my TV but not deezer. Any suggestion? I hvae logged in and out several times… and it is still not working. A friend of mine with anAndroid has the same issue.

I had no problems for ages, now it plays up all the time.

I have no problems with iplayer, youtube and many other apps.

I don’t want to cancel as I have playlists and favourites etc but surely there should be a fix for this?

That is a lot of £11.99 s you are letting down.

Had same problem with iPhone SE3 and latest iOS.

Closed Deezer app en restart… now able to cast to Argon Solo.

After short time loses connection, while music kept playing. Reconnecting no problem.
