Deezer connect is suddenly not working?

Everytime I try to connect my android app to my desktop app I get an error on my desktop and screen freeze on my android. I've been using the deezer connect feature for several weeks with no issues before. I tried clearing the cache, restarting/reinstalling the apps and still no luck. Any ideas for a fix?

Hi!

A bit late to the party but I just dicovered the “Connect”-funktion and decided to try it out, but having exactly the same problem as OP… Error on desktop app and the Android freezes.

These are similar experiences to mine.  I have never been able to get it to work successfully, and have tried an array of different browsers, apps, devices.

I have same problem, Deezer connect can’t find my desktop app on mobile device.

Just migrated from Spotify and I really miss this feature. 

 

 

When I listen to a Sony that I like. I press on deezer app. It takes me to another website like all the songs that pops up. When I press on deezer it copy the Sony an I tap on it to save on it. Is it possible that yall can fix that please. I never have any problem with this deezer app in till now

Hey guys!

Just wanted to let you know that I found another thread about this issue, and it said that it was fixed in the beta, so I downloaded latest betaversion 7.0.24.1 for Android and it works just fine now!

Well… how good is this?  I updated both my S21 and my S7.  I can now control my S7 from my S21 and it seems to be working properly so far.

It still doesn’t work for me to control a browser of PC app, but this is a major leap forward.

Hey Johnathan,

I still have problem with deezer conect feature.

In a nutshell when i (on the mobile)click on this option "deezer connect" it spining the "loading" circle and doesnt find my Android TV.

BTW TV is linked to the same network and to the Deezer account and Deezer is opened on TV.

Can you help me to solve this problem?

The TV apps cannot be controlled via deezer connect.

I think so, our developers are always trying to improve our app with more options and we probably receive an upgrade on Deezer Connect too! 💪🏽
