My Samsung TV received and installed a new version of the Tizen OS (v2025) yesterday. Since then, the Deezer app has stopped working. 

The app loads ok, and I can navigate through my favs and playlists, but it refuses to play any music.

I have cleared the Deezer cache... same issue

I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the Deezer app.. same issue.

Please advise how I can resolve this issue.

It might help if you did restart your TV, and check for available software updates for your TV .

Pre previous email, TV software was updated two days ago (1st July 2025). The software update is the latest Tizen OS version v2106.

Music from fav, playlists, or anything I search for will not play. Podcasts play just fine.

 


Still not working. When I select a track to play, the screen appears to be frozen..

When I go the the Deezer homepage, the track appears to be playing…

Any Deezer admins on here?

 


I have the same issue, new Samsung 2025 TV, Deezer app loads fine, navigation is fine, logon works, but click play button nothing happens. 

Software apps set to autoupdate so will be latest version.

Tried uninstall reinstall etc, as suggested in other threads still not playing. 

Seems very similar to older reports.

Hi Mark, I spoke to Samsung about this and, after trying YouTube and Spotify for music, they concluded that it was an issue with Deezer... it doesn't play nicely with the latest Tizen update.

No official response from Deezer yet, so I'll be cancelling my subscription if I don't hear from them soon.
