I can play podcasts on mobile app, but can’t play them on web page or browser add-on.
I keep getting the message:

Error

An error occured, please try again later.

Been trying since yesterday.

Hi @Njofra,thank you for your message.
The Deezer add-on is not an official feature.
But it should work on the web platform.
Have you tried using different browsers or use the incognito mode? Have you tried to clean cash on your browser?

I've unliged and logged in again.

Cleared the cache.

Tried it on official desktop app.

... it works only on my mobile phone, though. But not on PC.

Hi @Njofra, thanks for your messages.
Please use this link to download the most recent version of the Deezer Desktop app and see if this solve the problem.

Hi @Njofra apologies for the late answer.

I have select a variety of Podcast and I could play them all on Desktop app and Web browser.

Nevertheless, there some specifics podcast, normally linked to RSS feeds coming from hoster - Anchor, that both web and desktop have issues playing them.

Have you try on a browser, in incognito mode to play any of those podcasts?

If you keep getting errors, could you share one or two links of podcasts that don’t play. Also share a screenshot of the error you get.

Last tip, on the Deezer desktop app, try to download the podcast first and then listen it.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

HI @Leonídia.Deezer.
I haven’t tried before on the incognito mode, but once I did it… it works. So it is sort of a workaround.
Of course it would be more convenient if I could have it in regular browser page (then I’d always stay logged in).

Any other way of doing it?

Downloading unfortunately didn’t help.

Podcasts in place are: Jordan B Peterson or Ben Shapiro.
The History of Rome can be played wherever, though.

Here’s the snip of the error.

It’s probably because of the content of the podcasts, see how the podcast grounded in research and quest for understanding actually works, whereas the other 2 don’t 🤣 Joke aside, I experience the same.

I am using Linux, so I have to use web browser (no official app available), and I keep it pinned in a tab of Firefox. Every song or two, this would pop up. The music continues playing in background.

Eventually the playback stops and gets stuck.

The content also crossed my mind. It wouldn’t be the first time.
For me either works, or doesn’t.

Hello @Njofra first it is great to know that the workaround worked.

I have tried the podcast you mentioned on Chrome browser and they work.

Here an example for podcast - https://www.deezer.com/us/show/941022

Or for podcast https://www.deezer.com/us/show/43907 tested just last episode and it works:

The fact it works in Incognito mode, maybe can be related to antivirus, use of VPN or some Ad blocker maybe. That could also impact experience on Desktop.

But in the case of @PedroMartinSteenstrup could be more related with the fact Deezer doesn’t support Linux OS, so unexpected errors might occur while listen to content.

OK. I got it. Thank you very much for your effort.
