Can I listen offline using an MP3 player for lap swimming?

I am trying to find a way to listen to music while swimming using an MP3 swimming headset. I read on another forum that Deezer allows you to download music as part of the monthly service. I need to be able to download it to a waterproof mp3 device and listen to it without being connected to the internet. Can this be done? Do I need a specific brand/model that is compatible with deezer or will downloading work with any MP3 player?

It’s not possible .Deezer does allow you to download songs to offline listening as part of paid subscription however you can listen to the files within Deezer app only . The files are encrypted and can’t be transferred to an external device .

Apple Watch? If you have a new model, you can sync Deezer songs to Apple Watch.
