buggy search bar on desktop app; typing engages keyboard shortcuts

One Hit Wonder

Hey folk! On the Mac desktop app of deezer when I select the search bar, it loads the recent searches and after it loads this - the search field is unselected so it means typing does not go into the search by and instead hits the keyboard shortcuts. Can be very frustrating. 

 

Of course selecting the search bar again and a quick pause fixes this, but I shouldn’t have to click->wait->click_again to begin a search :(

    You are right. This problem with search has been happening recently (I am using Windows 11 PRO).
    As you said, there is a possibility to fix it but it will take some extra time .

    Maybe this problem will last for a while, because I hope that Deezer developers will solve it soon.

    Having the same problem! I type very fast and it does a lot of background shortcuts before I realized it (like accidentally removing song from favorites, etc). Very annoying. Hope they fix the search field to select the type box instead. Bonus if devs add the fix to the Add to Playlist search field!
