Albums search in latest version broken

Hi ​@SergioC I’ve tested on my side and didn’t have any problem while searching by artists on the latest version of the desktop app. Is it fixed for you?

I’m talking about searching in your Library under the “Albums” tab - it only returns results if you enter the album name which was never the case before - you could enter artist name it would return results.

I’ve forwarded it to our devs and as soon as I hear back from them I’ll let you know.

My desktop app also works perfectly fine when you look for the ‘artists’ albums by the artist name.

Are you using the desktop app for Mac or for Windows? Have you tried to deleted and download the app again? If so, I would also suggest you to clear the cache on the desktop app. 

Just go to your Account settings, then App preferences and Clear the Disk usage 👍

Are you searching in your Library or just a general search?  I’m using Windows - cleared cache, deleted and re-downloaded and it still doesn’t return results unless you search for the specific album title.  I checked thru my browser and that doesn’t work either.  The iPhone app works perfectly. 🙄

Yes, I am searching in my Library but using the desktop app for Mac. It also works very well on the web browser for Chrome.

​@Alfredo.Deezer  The Album search only looks at the album title, NOT the artist's name. If you enter part of the album name, it does show up in the search results.
