Account linking on Polaroid Smart Tv not working

My polaroid TV has the deezer app and ive been trying to log in. but the QR code or the link leads me to a deezer website but keeps on asking to continue to the deezer app so I pressed it and theres no place on the app where I can link my account. I need help trying to do this? how do I fix it? where do I put the code on the app?

I am sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting your Polaroid TV to Deezer.

Please note that Polaroid TV is not among Deezer's officially supported TV brands. However, if your Polaroid TV runs on Android TV OS (version 6.0 or higher), you may still be able to use Deezer.

To log in using the QR code/link, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are already logged in to the Deezer mobile app on your phone.
  2. On your TV, open the Deezer app — it should display a QR code and a 4-digit code.
  3. Using your phone, scan the QR code (or visit the link shown on screen).
  4. The Deezer mobile app should open automatically — if prompted, enter the 4-digit code shown on your TV.
  5. Your account should then be linked to the TV.
