Usher takes the Super Bowl stage to celebrate 30 years of a successful career, backed by over 80 million records sold, numerous awards, and nine number-one singles. Known for his versatility and dynamism, he will undoubtedly deliver top-notch excitement and entertainment. And as happens every year, everyone wonders if the show will feature special guests.

The fans and media have speculated about names like Lil John and Ludacris to perform "Yeah," Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Pitbull, Young Jeezy, and former BTS member Jungkook. The most optimistic even dream of a collaboration with Taylor Swift, who will be in the stands cheering on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce.

It has to be perfect; I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I want people who have been a part of that journey to feel like it’s a celebration for everybody, for all of us, from the beginning up until this point.”, Usher mentioned in a recent interview with Vogue magazine

30 years may sound like an eternity for an artist who is only 45 years old, but the truth is that Usher is more relevant than ever. He currently has a successful musical residency in Las Vegas and just released a new studio album today, "Coming Home", two days before his highly anticipated performance at the Super Bowl. The album features 20 songs, including collaborations with artists such as Burna Boy, 21 Savage, H.E.R, Pheelz, and Jungkook.

Halftime Show Origins

The Super Bowl Halftime Show, a tradition since 1967, has evolved from student bands to iconic performances by stars like Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. In 2001, the performance headlined by NSYNC, Britney Spears, and Aerosmith set the stage for star-studded shows. Since then, we have seen artists such as U2, Prince, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé with former band Destiny’s Child have. The 2004 show, infamous for Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction while performing with Justin Timberlake, highlights how these musical moments transcend sports, often going viral. Usher, a current R&B icon, will undoubtedly deliver an unforgettable performance, with speculation about potential guests or surprises, like last year when Rihanna revealed during that she was expecting her second child.

We can only wait to see if Usher will perform solo or bring an artist on stage, but it will surely be an unforgettable night not only for the Super Bowl winners, but also for all the fans waiting for the halftime show that the R&B icon will offer.
