volume control airplay from ios app

Can only control volume of airplay devices with physical buttons on side of IPad.  Cannot adjust volume using slider bar.  As soon as I release the slider volume, it returns to original location.  Volume does not change as I slide the volume up & down.   What setting am I missing?

    I think this is an iOS thing, as I get this when AirPlaying from other streaming services as well, using my iPhone. Maybe others can share their experiences.

      Hi @Leonardo63, I don't have access to an iPad for testing. I conducted some tests on an iPhone, but I wasn't able to replicate the issue.
      Could you please send me a video recording the issue that you are having on your iPad?
