It has become frequent that when I am using Deezer my phone increases in temperature considerably. I have an iPhone 14 Pro, and I have closed all other apps to make sure it is not another background activity- and it seems to be Deezer indeed.

Hi @Pablo30br !

The iPhone 14, like other smartphones, can experience temperature fluctuations. While it doesn't have a built-in thermometer, you'll know if it's overheating because it will display a warning message and potentially reduce performance to cool down. Generally, iPhones are designed to operate within a specific temperature range, and prolonged use in very hot conditions can potentially shorten battery life.

Here's a breakdown of what to expect and how to handle temperature-related issues:

1. Normal Operation:
iPhones are designed to operate in ambient temperatures between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F).
Using the phone for demanding tasks like gaming or charging in hot conditions can cause it to warm up.
The phone's internal systems will monitor temperature and take measures to prevent overheating.

2. Overheating and Warning Signs:
If the iPhone gets too hot, it will display a temperature warning message.
The warning screen will indicate that the phone needs to cool down before it can be used again.
Features might be temporarily disabled to help the device cool down.
In extreme cases, the phone might be temporarily disabled until it cools down.

3. What to do if your iPhone 14 overheats:
Turn it off: Power down the device to allow it to cool down faster.
Move to a cooler environment: Avoid direct sunlight or hot environments.
Remove the case: Phone cases, especially those made of insulating materials, can trap heat.
Let it cool down: Allow the phone to cool down naturally before turning it back on.
Avoid heavy tasks: Refrain from using demanding apps or games until the phone cools down.
Check for software updates: Ensure your iPhone is running the latest software, as updates can sometimes address performance issues.
