Hi,

Does anybody use Deezer on iOs and have some playback issues. Sometimes when my music is playing it randomly pauses without any input from me. I am not accidentally clicking the pause button on the home screen.

Hi @PAPACITO @Alex Zinich @archaic_email @lukevdijk We do not have a clear solution yet.
rom what we have observed, the problem seems to be related to the interaction between the AirPods and the Apple Watch. It appears that for some reason, the AirPods connect to the watch at some point and then reconnect to the phone, causing the audio to pause. Please try to prevent the app from launching automatically on the watch.
This does not prevent the bug if the app is launched on both the phone and the watch simultaneously, but it significantly reduces the occurrences.
Here are the steps:
Open watch App> General> Auto-Launch> deactivate

As an alternative that’s been working for me since making the change is turning Automatic ear detection off for my airpods. Will also try this and see if that helps too.

@lukevdijk Look like bugs at Watch up, because sometimes music stops at ofline mode in watch, or watch up autoclosed

In fact, there are moments when I am also impacted by this problem. The music I'm listening to merely stops without any input from me. Because it happens infrequently, it is difficult to recreate.

hey! came across this post and I’m having the same issue for almost a year. I don't have an apple watch but I do have airpods, but even on my wired earpods this probably happens

in my case it looks like deezer enters on stand by mode (or iOS made it do it) mid first song and the app completely shut down, and restarting again loads the homepage and clean all my queue. does anyone know how to prevent this stand by situation?

ps: already did the uninstall/install/clear cache/log again etc rubbish

Same issue here. Deezer stops playing playing songs. App says Loading please wait or anything like this. My wifi connection is more than fine, also tried on mobile connection 5G, always same issue since days. It simply sucks if you just wanna here music.

And yes I did uninstall / install the app which had no positive effect at all. But I lost all my settings and all my downloads. This may be a solution in very rare situation, but it‘s not the solution every time we see issues with the app! Go get your app and servers stable, we‘re all „premium“ members paying lots of money to you.

I heard a lot of pauses on my SoundCore Life Q35 via iphone or mac when both devices are connected to headphones (dual simultaneous connection is possible). As soon as I turn off bluetooth on one or the other the pauses simply vanish.

One gotcha is if the laptop doesn’t turn itself off on lid close (and mine sometimes doesn’t if external monitor and peripherals are connected), so you have a secret contender for bluetooth connection :)

Hi @Thomasp @DarkoSpoljaric @fusomusica, do you still experience issues? If yes, please give us as many details as you can:

  • Version of OS Apple Watch and mobile phone
  • Deezer version installed
  • What devices are connected to the phone - Earphones, Watch, … (give us the model for each device)
  • If you have earphones/headphones/speakers connected to your watch or phone, do you know if they are paired with other devices as well? If yes, please unpair them or turn off Bluetooth on those devices.
  • Step by step how we can reproduce the same issue you experience.
