Can’t play tracks. No matter what device. What’s causing this?  Already tried updating changing passwords etc.

Can you please give us more information? Which Deezer are you using, which iOS release?

And what is happening when you want to start playing a song? And if there are any error messages, could you share them with us?


The issue seems to be gone again for now. I’m using the latest version of the Deezer app. And web browser on my PC to play at home. The error was appearing on both sessions yesterday (in the app and browser). I’ve made a screenshot of the error yesterday from my phone. So far everything is working again. Not sure what happened, it lasted for about a hour or two.

I have the same, deezer doesn't play, error MS1002 in all applications - Windows 10, android 14, just after install from zero. In all browsers the same error. Doesn’t matter what software I used.


i got the same error. Using Windows 11 browser player.


The same thing happens to me, I hope they fix it soon.

 


Same thing again today. 
Screenshots below in case needed  (app version) but thinking it’s a global thing. Not sure what to make of it either. 

 


Same issue here with macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Windows Android… Cache cleared, apps re-installed, Webbrowsers..

Devices restarted, etc...

In a similar thread, some subscribers shared that they thought their use of a VPN had triggered this issue. If you are troubleshooting, that may be a place to start. If not, you can open a support ticket and go from there. Best of luck.

Yes, it all started with using a VPN. But after disabling the VPN, restarting the router, restarting the phone, clearing the cache, logging in again, and resetting the password, it still doesn't work.

Indeed, it happened when I went on vacation from Belgium to France. And in France, I was connecting to my NAS at my Belgium home,  using VPN, listing to Deezer.

So no Deezer subscription for me. I will stick with the other music streamers. Too bad.

Well, they should review and copy the terms and conditions of other platforms to allow you to move your account to other countries. What do people who travel constantly for work do? Are they banned from Deezer because they're fraudulent?


A few days ago I signed up for Deezer, went on a trip and got error MS1022, bye Deezer.
It's regrettable what they're doing with the platform; traveling is now committing fraud.
