Controls by bluetooth and 3mm headphones not functioning

Hello;

Kind of gave up on this a couple months ago. I was hoping it was iOS or Deezer API that would eventually get fixed.

  • iPhone used to work with my wired headphones fine. Now the playback will stop after 5 seconds. No button (volume up / down) work properly.
  • Same in the car, it used to work perfect. Then after iOS 17 the playback stops after a few seconds. If I press the play on the car or the phone, it just plays 3 sec and stops.

I have tested several other apps, like Apple Music, Napster, and Youtube. They are all working fine, controls work on the phone, headphones, or APP.

Seems to me there was something broken in recent times in Deezers methods to the Apple API for controlling the playback. Since I have used both wired 3mm jack headphones (over a lightening connector) and the car bluetooth, it cannot just be one. It seems the ability to do play, volume up, down or skip API is not right.

Hi @pixmotion sorry to hear that. It is an unusual behaviour. I don’t have a lighting connector to test, but with Bluetooth headphones works fine for me. I can play, pause, move forward and backward. Music doesn’t stop if I leave it play for hours.

So I wonder if could be a issue related to the lighting connector. Is it an official Apple Dongle? Any chance to test a wired connection without using that dongle?

In the car, what option do you have to connect your phone with or car media center? Cable, Wireless, both?

Have tried different cables?
