carplay - continue where i left off

Usually in the morning I’ll start an album via CarPlay . When I arrive at work it’s still playing.

When I return home from work ik want to resume playback but it appears the app has lost all knowledge of what I played that morning. I need to select the artist and album again, go to the last song played (if I cared to remember) and that last song will then start over.

Is there some way to continue playback? Am I missing a thing? Missing my old cassette tapes 😉

Hi @deezer-roti just to confirm and understand, Synchronised queue list works from Carplay to your Mobile/PC? but not from your PC/phone to Carplay?
Thanks

Sorry I have no clue what a “Synchronised queue list” is? I normally open app, pick a favourite playlist and press play (or shuffle play).

end of day I need to do that again and any playlist I start will start over, so unless I choose shuffle I will hear the same songs as in the morning. I don’t even want to select a playlist, I just want Deezer to continue where I left off

@Jaime.Deezer:

When I use my Android phone I start a playlist in the morning, select start and it starts playing.

After my visit I get back into my car, hook up the phone again and Deezer automatically starts playing where it ended. And this happens everytime and I think this is how it should work.

At home it continues the same playlist (or album). And if I stop Deezer at the end of the evening, it continues in the car the next day where it left off.

I think this is what @deezer-roti is meaning?

Absolutely.

One small nuance: app doesn’t have to start playing automatically. Wouldn’t mind pressing play or resume, that’s not the point of raising this. As long as it then continues playing where I left off.

By now I have stopped using Deezer in my car. Gave up on all the clicking and starting over.

I’m switching to an iPhone temporary this week (possibly), so I’m curious if I will experience the same.

@awesomemac were you able to test with the temporary iPhone or not yet?
Thanks for your help :)

Curious as well.

I understand...Long story short=

I use my iPhone as a hotspot for my MacBook Pro. At the moment somehow it doesn’t work as a hotspot, unable to connect.

And I do need a hotspot daily for my work, so I switched to an Android phone, where I don’t have any hotspot issues.

And ‘cause of this, I’m not using my iPhone for now.

I have the same problem.  Deezer does not pick up where it left off after being disconnected from Car Play.  Start car, phone connects to Apple Car Play, listen to music.  Turn car off.  Go into store.  Come back out.  Deezer does not pick up where it left off.  Deezer is the most cost effective music service but this problem will make me pay more for another service.  Please advise.

Hello @clines99 sorry to hear that you have the same issue.

Do you have activated the Synchronised Queue-list option under Devices after accessing the Deezer menu ?

Please make sure you have the most recent Deezer app installed and OS is updated to last version.

Can you confirm the version of your Deezer app and OS version if the issue persists.
