When I use Deezer with CarPlay, I can browse artists and albums, but the list appears to be in a sort of alphabetical order mixed with the year an artist or album was added.

For example, if I want to find the band Serenity, I have to scroll through a very long list because I don’t know in which year I added them.

Is it possible to change this so that the added years are removed, and artists and albums are shown in a clean alphabetical order without the “year added” information?

Hi Anthony @awesomemac  !

Deezer rolled out a forced update that harmonized the display and sorting across Apple CarPlay. Your favorite albums, playlists, and artists are now strictly ordered by recently added (most recent first) and grouped by year.
So ,albums and artist cannot be shown in alphabetical order on CarPlay.

Apple CarPlay enforces strict layout rules to minimize driver distraction. Grouping large libraries into chronological "year blocks" is meant to reduce long, unstructured alphabetical scrolling while the car is in motion.

You can bypass manual screen scrolling entirely by pressing your steering wheel's voice button and asking Siri to play a specific Deezer album or playlist by name.

How do I use Siri to control CarPlay?
Depending on your car, there are two ways to use Siri to control CarPlay:
Press and hold the voice-command button on your car's steering wheel or hold the CarPlay Dashboard or CarPlay home button on your touchscreen
Tip: Using a voice command, ask Siri to play general requests, listen to music and, depending on your country, listen to podcasts or radio.
