Is there a way that I can assist in adding lyrics to certain albums?

Hi,

I thought of a suggesstion. Deezer can take interviews of users who are interested and then select a few and give a job to those specific people who let's say work few hours a week to add lyrics on the songs.
This way not all the users would not work at the same time and keep editing their fellow user's pre-uploaded lyrics and some worthy people would get a fun employment !

i know from the support team that the lyrics are made by a company that is not to be disclosed,ok but it's your app btw we as a comunity must be able to make suggestions and submit our own lyrics for songs that are not in english, i think that if a song is not in english it should be open to having lyrics added and other people editing that(and to be on deezers side it should be premium only)

Can custom lyrics be placed at least locally? It's a general thing for audio players to find lyrics locally. You chose pattern for lyrics matching, folder and it searches the lyrics in txt in files.

Not all songs have lyrics, so we can put them in the songs, so this goes through an app rating.

Hi there, all lyrics are added by another company called LyricFind. Basically you need the copyright holders to authorise the use of the lyrics and it's not possible to let users adding them.

An Idea would be allow the users to insert the lyrics (as draft version) and only visible to the user (like “personal notes/lyrics”.

And what Deezer could do with that, is receive the Lyrics, request authorization from the copyright holder that published, and if allowed, make it public and official to all Deezer users.

This way Deezer can make use of the collaborative to populate quicker more lyrics, and until it gets published, at least the user is happy he gets to see the lyrics to his favorite songs (even if it’s only accessible by him/her). :)

id like to be able to do that and i have an idea so you upload your lyrics and a group of people chech teh lyrics to aprove them
