Users adding and editing lyrics

An Idea would be allow the users to insert the lyrics (as draft version) and only visible to the user (like “personal notes/lyrics”.

And what Deezer could do with that, is receive the Lyrics, request authorization from the copyright holder that published, and if allowed, make it public and official to all Deezer users. 

This way Deezer can make use of the collaborative to populate quicker more lyrics, and until it gets published, at least the user is happy he gets to see the lyrics to his favorite songs (even if it’s only accessible by him/her).  :)

id like to be able to do that and i have an idea so you upload your lyrics and a group of people chech teh lyrics to aprove them

Hey, is there any update on this topic? Also is there a way to suggest improvements for already existed lyrics on a song? ( sometimes it's wrong)
I can suggest to implement this feature as export/import lyrics files for local use on all platforms ( except web i guess ).
If its possible i can implement this feature on android (working as android dev for over 6 years )

How many upvotes are needed to see this happen. Its a great idea to implement the editing/adding lyrics. There are so many lyrics either missing or completely wrong.

We need to make this an option on Deezer!!

Deezer  is by far my favourite app for music, adding this feature would make it the perfect music app!!

At least can we add lyrics to songs which we add?

@Rafael. if we can’t edit by copy rights, it’s possible to add where lyrics are missing completely?

Probably the reason for not offering lyrics editing is the provider LyricFind. Spotify uses Musixmatch again after several years which offers editing or adding lyrics on their own site and also in their downloadable app.

Any updates after 5 years? Lots of songs don't have lyrics specially the non Englishs. Thanks.
