the new location of the 3 dots (options)

I also don't like this change..  i understand moving most things to top right, but this middle area is something we are used to for many of the basic stuff at least… The rest you can hide top right.

Also.. the sleep button disappeared!!! Was bottom middle.. i might understand if it's not a commonly used one ..but it is with me.. and consider the lazy person about to sleep looking for it! 😅

I suffer immensely from that design decision, what could possibly be the idea behind it? What kind of UI approach is that, I keep pushing that phantom button since I’ve pushed it thousands of time. And my finger hurts when I have to push the new button on the top with my thumb. Or I have to hold the phone with two hands, which is also not possible all the time. 

Also even the new button as someone mentioned in the thread doesn't work very well, either the tap area is limited or there a some kind of limitation where you cannot tap right away, which I don’t really understand how it works

I’m guessing whoever decided to move the 3 dots for no reason doesn’t have opposable thumbs and has decided to punish the rest of us for their de-evolutionary mishap with de-evolutionary UX design decisions.

What an absolute blunder.

I left Spotify for Deezer because of Spotify’s insatiable hunger for making arbitrary, regressive changes...

I think the age of the playlists is over. Instead, we should rather use the AI generated flows. That's why the three points were moved. 

Please reverse this update. It barely works. Very frustrating.

The problem is that in numerous different discussions there is annoyance about the three points. I'm actually registered in the German Deezer Community (https://de.deezercommunity.com/) and there I see at least 4 different discussions in which the users complain about the three-point menu. Unfortunately, there is no "upvote" button there. 

Worst change that could’ve been done, I don’t know why Deezer did that, it’s unpractial and useless.

Nobody likes it.

It was already pretty « laborious, long and repetitive » to click on 3 differents buttons to add a song to a playlist but now it has to be on the too right…

One AWESOME CHANGE would be to get the three dot button back to its original position and to add even more buttons so it’s quicker and less repetitive to do things such as launching a track mix, adding a song to a playlist, setting a sleep timer and listenning to an album (I personnaly do these things more than 20 times a day and Im nowhere near to be the only one).

Im just commenting so there’s more negatives feedback concerning this change so that Deezer will make up for it. Do the same, comment, like etc.. so it becomes a bigger issue and will be, I hope, solved more quickly. It might even force me to change streaming music platform ! Say the same, it’ll also involve a quicker change.

The new location of the three dots is incredibly frustrating and I don’t see the logic behind it. It’s hard enough to get to “album page” and now this just makes it even more difficult as you can’t do it one handed unless phone in right hand.

Please change it back. Also, whilst you’re at it, two features have been completely buried: flow and podcasts. Please get rid of the “explore” tab and replace with one of these.

Agreed, change for changes sake so some management clod with no UI/UX knowledge can feel important.

As you say, a far more useful change would be to add a button either side of the 3 dots (in their practical, central position), that can be customised to short cut to one of the menu options!!!

Please, Imm sure we'd all love to know what the internal justification for doing work on such a regressive change was!
