STILL no progress on removing Gender from user profiles

For several years now --- at least seven, at a cursory examination --- customers have been asking Deezer to remove the Gender Identify question from the user profile.

And for just as long, Deezer has been “considering” and “discussing” it.

What’s to discuss? Just remove it. It’s intrusive, it serves no purpose, and I doubt very much it’s providing useful information to Deezer. Seriously, you look at the data and go “40% of our users said they are male, 40% female, and 20% non-binary*, so now we can...” what exactly? What useful purpose does this serve for you? Please don’t tell me it’s part of the recommendations algorithm!

Anyway, once again, because you’ve been ignoring this reasonable and trivial-to-implement request for years, here it is again. 

At the very least, remove it from “Deezer information that can be seen by other users”.
