SONOS integration with Deezer Family

It would be nice to link Deezer accounts together into one family subscription instead of using profiles.
With this it would be possible to stream different streams with different accounts to different SONOS speakers in the same house.
Otherwise the SONOS integreation of Deezer should manage the selection of profiles.
(Family with different SONOS speakers. Child A would listen to a podcast or music on speaker A. Child B would listen some childbooks on speaker B and Parents would listen to music an speaker group C).

Hi,

Why doesn't Deezer just implement the same as Tidal and Spotify, where each of the family members can generate their own login.
This way they just need to login to the devices, be it Sonos, Deezer, Control4 etc etc and they would get their favorites playlists etc.

This solution would be much better than just choosing profiles as it would solve the problem with all devices in one go.

I run a smart home, AV and cinema installation company (www.homecinematechnology.co.uk) and would be able to help Deezer steal a lot of customers from Spotify as they would no longer have to use spotify connect. However spotify connect is a good workaround for the profile problem until Deezer fix this properly.

Not yet, @Marko Man but it has been put forward recently. I hope for more updates beginning of next year, which I'll be obviously sharing with the community here :thumbsup_tone2:

Is there already some progress? I used to like to listen to flow music, but with sonos no longer. If there is no concrete date for a solution this month, then I will regretfully have to go to Spotify.

Thank you for reaching out about this. There's progress, yes. But we still need more time as we've decided to work on revamping the whole Sonos experience :thumbsup_tone2:

So we're unable to commit to a date for this to be completed yet. As soon as there's more concrete information, we'll be letting you know :pray_tone2:

Hello @JuliaJ our user platform team is currently working on separating the profiles within a Deezer Family account more. It should be rolled out to users around Summer. That means that the profiles are more independent. Thereby, each profile should be able to connect to SONOS then :slight_smile:
