Roon compatibility with Deezer

Hi, +1 please.  Has their been any further update? Last update was 7 months ago. Been keenly watching, opened account so I can watch the thread and stop checking weekly

@Yula Hi Yula and welcome! I wanted to draw your attention to this topic which is classified as “Replied by Deezer”. There are over 350 people hanging on the edge of their seats, but no update since 8 months. Can you look into it and let us know if something concrete is happening? If it’s technically possible, this would be a huge bump for Deezer from the audiophile community. Cheers!

Hi @Yula and thanks on behalf of the community. Unfortunately the answer they gave you shows us the gap between the developers and the community. I’m interested in lots of things, like the pandemic ending by Christmas or retiring at 40 on a beach. What we are looking for is some commitment. Even if they say, “Look, stop bugging us, we have it on the roadmap for Q2 of 2022”. 

Gosh, I have been reading some of the posts asking for Deezer integration with Roon for more than 4 years and still ther are no concrete plans. I don’t want MQA so I have never signed up with Tidal. I prefer want CD quality without having to buy all kinds of extra equipment. An integration with Roon, would be great. The interface and info are a great addition. It kinda of seems that I would leave leave Deezer after many years and Switch to Tidal Hifi, so that I can enjoy Roon as well.

+1 for Roon. It would be a big market share grab of the audiophile community if Deezer make this happen. Lots of folks unhappy with Tidal but love Roon.

i am using TIDAL since I have moved to ROON

i would really love to use DEEZER as I was when using Logitech Media Server

...switched to Deezer from Spotify because of the much better SQ.

Now I am feeling a bit like standing on a small Island. None of my renderers is capable of google(chrome-)cast, so connection to players is very limited - no DLNA, no direct link to my Node II - rather frustrating…

Still waiting. Patiently ;)

+1 too, at least for the ability to run our audio in exclusive mode!

Plse add Deezer to Roon

I am currently on a 30 day trial, I have Qobuz, and Spotify as well and only tried because of me testing Bang & Olufsen. 
The thing is I am using Naim and Roon. And no with no support for those there is little to no reason for me to stay!!!

I would switch from tidal in an instant if this was implemented :)

It would be great to have Deezer integrated on Roon. No crap MQA, we want FLAC!

Come on Deezer. Where's the roon support? API updates were due to be done in '21. It's May '22.

Let's see you become the #1 platform. You have the best library, the best file formats in flac and now you need to work with the best partners. 

Roon and AAOS asap please.....
