The idea of Flow is great, but I find it tends to have quite a narrow range of styles of songs it gives me.  I like to listen to all sorts of music from many different genres and from many different countries and many different languages, but I don’t get given that full range of songs that I would like to hear.  There are a huge number of songs in my favourites, but only a fraction of these get chosen by Flow.  And also I would like to get surprised by songs in different languages and from different countries, of genres that I have never heard before.  Could you have some sort of way of adjusting the level of variety from Flow?  Maybe 0 = “keep it consistent with what I have said I like”, and 10 = “mix it up with all sorts of random stuff I’ve never dreamed of hearing”.  For example, I’d like to now and again hear songs from maybe Afganistan or Bolivia or India or Romania or the Congo.  Give me more variety, please!

Hello @David Geary, thank you for your feedback!

It's great to hear you enjoy the idea of Flow.

We understand you'd like to hear a wider variety of music and explore new genres, languages, and countries.

I'll pass your suggestion for a feature that lets you adjust the variety level to our team.

For now, you can use the "Explore" tab to discover music from different regions and styles.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I hadn’t used “Explore” before - and I can see it does look like a good option for me.  However, most of my Deezer use is in the car, using CarPlay (for iPhone), and in CarPlay there is no “Explore” tab (see attached photo).  As a feature suggestion, could you please suggest that “Explore” be added to CarPlay?

Hi @David Geary! Thanks for your feedback!

I’m glad you found the “Explore” option helpful.

I understand that it’s not available in CarPlay, and I appreciate your suggestion to add it there.

I’ll pass your request along to our team for consideration.

If you have any more ideas or questions, feel free to share!
