Download music to your Apple Watch Deezer app/Have a standalone Apple Watch app

I need to have music downloadable to my Apple Watch, similar to Apple Music or the Deezer iPhone App.

Streaming is not good enough. When I am running for example, I do not take my iPhone with me.

You could ask us to sync the Apple Watch with the iPhone to check subscription to ensure it hasn’t lapsed/not been paid for the upcoming month.
You can also set a 30 day download subscription after each sync (or the renewal date that matches payment subscription).
Even if it’s playlist sync only that’s fine. I would’nt expect to search through Deezer’s library on the Apple Watch as this would be laborious.

Is there any update on this?

If I can’t download music onto my Apple Watch soon, for when I go for a run, I will feel forced to cancel my subscription and move to competitors that do offer that functionality.

Looking like its time to ditch my years old Deezer subscription in favor of Apple music.. What is the problem Deezer? Is this just not making it to top of priority or is Apple the road block here?

Do the watch apps have a similar mechanism to Testflight to test these apps? I don’t mind testing it.

Upvote here, Deezer is getting behind on the competition, and with the rising sales of the watches and LTE watches losing market share without the option to download/stream your own playlist.

an illegal bypass to play my music from the watch should not be necessary! It has been months after the “yes were developing it” message. Update ASAP please!
