Download music to your Apple Watch Deezer app/Have a standalone Apple Watch app

The idea is currently part of our backlog and we haven't started developing yet. But I'm confident it'll be prioritised once we get some other planned features out of the way 

I was told be a Deezer rep that it was never likely to happen. It’s Apple putting up the blockade. They won’t allow it to happen. You can put any song that you own through Apple or one that is in your iPhone library on your phone.  
 

I was able to download deezer songs to my Fitbit with a paid Deezer subscription. It was really handy.

I appreciate what you've said, but I have good news, we're working on developing our Apple Watch integration as a standalone. It's early days at the moment but I'll keep this thread updated as soon as I have more info 

That would be nice to be sooner than later. I have started looking into Apple Music it’s very similar in price and there are more songs there. If this doesn’t happen sooner than later I might have already switched over.

This is Great News!! We were about to switch our Deezer Family subscription to Apple Music as exercising outside with a watch and a phone in this day and age isn't really an acceptable solution. Yes some people will carry their phone but with the Apple Watch you can leave your phone at home, except for listening to music through the Deezer App 😏

You can even leave your wallet at home...

You're right, that's the whole purpose @QC_Dub. We've been looking at this for a long time, along with other wearables. Stay tuned a bit longer, I'll share more as soon as we get updates 

One more vote from me. Deezer has been my main music app for years I love for featuring lists and good structure. I’m switching to Apple now and just looking forward to see the feature so I can go jogging without my heavy iphone. Really don’t want to switch to Apple Music. Hope you can resolve this.

Apple music does it. Spotify does it. We need Deezer to release an app for Apple Watch (LTE) which will enable streaming directly to the watch. 

Saves me bringing the phone to my training sessions.

Please enable Deezer on Apple Watch with download and streaming functionality without the need haveing the iPhone in the pocket

Hi, any news on this topic? I Have a Deezer account for the iPhone, for my Mac, for my TV but as many people said before the Apple Watch App is to me (and probably to all runners) quite useless…With Apple Music or Spotify I could download my music on the watch. I Think it’s definitively a BASIC functionality.
