Download music to your Apple Watch Deezer app/Have a standalone Apple Watch app

I need to have music downloadable to my Apple Watch, similar to Apple Music or the Deezer iPhone App.

Streaming is not good enough. When I am running for example, I do not take my iPhone with me.

You could ask us to sync the Apple Watch with the iPhone to check subscription to ensure it hasn’t lapsed/not been paid for the upcoming month.
You can also set a 30 day download subscription after each sync (or the renewal date that matches payment subscription).
Even if it’s playlist sync only that’s fine. I would’nt expect to search through Deezer’s library on the Apple Watch as this would be laborious.

Are there any plans to allow Apple Watch users (I have a 3 series) the ability to download a handful of albums or playlists for running to for example without the need for the phone to be connected?

I appreciate my Watch only has 10-12GB of memory but still, so even if you limit the amount of ‘synched’ music to the Apple Watch to say 5 albums and 2 playlists for example, but we definitely need to be able to play music through the phones deezer app without the need to be connected to the main phone...

Hi Graham, to be honestly, I don't think so. :)
The Apple watch is not like the phone's app. You can control your phone's app from your watch, but not use the watch to listen to the songs straight from the phone.
Therefore it will be unlikely that we can implement it some time soon. I will pass your feedback to our devs anyway and hopefully they will be able to come up with an idea!

I have the same wish... As does my sister.
The idea of running with the watch only and having GPS is great, too bad you still need to take your phone for the music.

I agree too, this functionality should be enabled. I have been using Deezer for 10 years and would consider moving to iTunes simply because they offer music to be uploaded directly on the watch ( so much easier for runners like me).

Yes I agree with these persons we need this capability as soon as possible. The Deezer team should be losing sleep right now to get this to work. I don’t want to take my phone on my runs. So I need to play my music when I am running. This should not hard to fix especially when so much of your customers are asking for this.

Please bring the ability to download and stream music on the Apple Watch 3, Apple Music already has this features and StreamKit from Watch OS allows any third party app to do so.

There needs to be some way for an Apple Watch user to listen to Deezer without your iPhone. I'm not going to take my phone for a run to have music. Instead, I'll just end up using a different music service...

I know that this has been asked a lot. However now with Apple Watch OS5 there is no reason that an app can’t be made as the update lets developer download music into the Apple Watch. So now I am wondering if Deezer is going to ahead and create a downlod feature in the app.
