Deezer Favourite Tracks Limit of 2000 too small - please increase it!

I love hearing new music and when flow suggests a track I love I add "heart" it to my favourites. Having been with you a number of years I'm already over the 1000 number in my favourites and not all of these show on my mobile - please increase this limit 🙂

I’m very thankful for your help with managing Deezer’s flow and its recommendations. They’re way better than before!.

I also must admit, I agree with topic-writers: I need 2k favs too, because I’m EASILY reaching this limit. My OFFLINE playlist reaches 16k tracks and I try to mark ‘em here, in my Deezer Account. It is 14 years of non-stop searching of great music. I’m really tired to look for something new, knowing that Deezer doesn’t know all of my tastes and suggests me things I already know or heard. The only exit is looking for charts and new releases every day or look back to my offline playlist with every song I'm finding. If there was a mark “favourite” for my every favourited song, the search for music weren’t that hard with Dezzer.

I would like also to have a feature to mark songs as "disliked" to not stumble upon songs I really dislike and see them as disliked in playlists or albums.

It’s hard to recognize tracks I already have in my playlists if they’re not marked as “favourited”.

If you feel tired to listening the same, I often listen genre I didn’t listen.

One day I played happy hardcore, and it played fast… from this day I am in.

I listen all kind of edm and I think Deezer is easily providing me the largest music. I am not even subscribed yet to the paid version, I am already sold by it. Comparing to YTM it’s like heaven and…

When I'm bored at home and I'm on the internet
I'm searching for my favourite songs to listen next
But all I see on the screen is nightcores
It sort of sounds the same but it just isn't quite right
It sounds like it's speed up and the pitch is up too high
What have they done to my song, tell me why?

Mostly I listen compilations, radio channels on music services and these work. I constantly hear new music because it works. How does it work? You just listen new genres all the time from rap to dance. You listen all possible compilations and you’ll never hear the same again.

I tried all streaming services, and most of them play same songs over and over.

Even GPM which I canceled, because they are closing it. Will see how it’s done on Deezer.

Not exactly. I’m tired of circling in the songs the service suggests, ‘cos it doesn’t know all of my listened songs. I also must refer to my offline playlist to check isn’t I already have this song or not.

New genres are great too, I’m already looking through blues and jazz.

@JustMK You could e.g. split your 16k total playlist from GPM into 8 smaller ones and use an online playlist converter to create 8 separate Deezer playlists from them. Maybe tools like TuneMyMusic.com can even directly convert from GPM to Deezer, but may not be able to split playlists that are bigger than 2k.

I am actually doing by hand :)

They are closing GPM for worse service YTM which is nowhere near to replace GPM I use since 2016. Here I am still sitting on the couch adding my first playlist with edits only. I will cancel YTM.

I don’t see paying for a service with less music. I was at 100 on YTM transfer and it didn’t have 20 songs of it which were on GPM. Deezer, so far more than that clicked to a list EVERYTHING is here.

I am impressed, will see, but I badly don’t reach 2000 limit anytime soon. All my list are top ten songs. The only thing I suggest, remove limits from liked tracks. These should be limitless.

Which under 320 on each :)

In Deezer i work with alphabetical playlists, including an ! followed by the first two letters , for example, havana goes to “ !ha “ playlist.

Exactly. Didn’t do a good for their company in my head.

Got paid Deezer and canceled them. Unacceptable. Hard work may be gone in one night or worse they do offer something which is nowhere to replace the actual service. What a joke, really.

Thank you for your kind words, I feel like Deezer is nice home to my lists for decades to come.

I registered 29.06.2020 and my liked tracks are already 757. Today will add at least 150 more.

More space needed to see them all!

Just to inform everyone part of this thread and the rest of the Deezer community, that our developers and product managers have discussed work around this feature and the way things are in the app at the moment - these discussions will continue over the next couple of months and we'll keep all of you updated in due course.
