Deezer Discord rich presence

It would be neat if Deezer had Discord rich presence so it would display the current playing track, album art, artist name, how long into the track the user is and a link to the track.

Something like Spotify added recently.

    Any news on this? I think what is most frustrating is that the status is in “not for now” several years but we do not know the process of you guys revisiting these. Do we need to create a new post? do we just have to wait until someone in the company finds it between the all the other posts? no one knows...

      An update would indeed be nice, and also the unmerging of this idea “rich presence” from the other “An Official Deezer Discord Bot”:

      Especially since it was admitted, that it was wrong to merge both ideas

            Honestly, the reason why i don’t want to use the browser to listen to music is simply that I often have more websites open and don’t want the deezer tab to interfer or get accidentally closed by me. And at least for Firefox, i couldn’t find a maintained RPC AddOn.

            But i just found this, which works great for the last 20 minutes i used it:

            It’s a chromium based app which displays the deezer web app and has a nice Discord RPC integration. The real question is, why the official desktop app isn’t just a fancier version of this.

            It’s just a shame for deezer that we have to trust 3rd parties to get this highly wanted feature.

            This app got updated five days ago, as it wasn’t working properly anymore.

            [Edit]Just installed it, seems to be still - or again - broken, nothing is shown in Discord when playing e.g. an album on Deezer.

            If you have opened too many browser tabs, you could move the tab with the Deezer web player to the very left, so you always know where your music is coming from. 😉

              How come this is still even being discussed? This is the only reason why I switched to spotify years ago. Now I came back to see it’s still the case.. We want this done. Please.

                Another Discord Rich Presence tool, but this time it works with the Deezer desktop app among others:

                Theoretically this tool works with all desktop media players for the local music library, but apparently only for new versions, because e.g. Winamp 5.9.2 and WMP for Windows 10 do not work (but new WMP for Windows 11 does). You also have to use the Discord desktop app, in the browser version the current title is not displayed in the Discord profile.
