Please, Deezer, I have so much to say that it barely fits into a single review. Below are some of the most urgent issues and recurring annoyances I’ve experienced that seriously need attention:

• Shuffle mode does not work properly when casting to external devices (at least with Google Nest devices). The shuffle button disappears as soon as casting begins.

• While casting, the playback queue becomes unusable. I can only see previously played tracks, not upcoming ones, and there is no way to edit or manage the queue.

• Music sometimes stops randomly during casting, as if the connection between the mobile app and the target device drops unexpectedly.

• At times, the connection becomes unstable enough that audio plays simultaneously on both the phone and the speaker, but out of sync, and I lose control over playback on the cast device.

• There are significant inconsistencies between controls in the Deezer app and Google Home. Google Home occasionally stops showing that music is casting even though playback continues. I have already configured the app to keep running in the background, but the issue persists. Often, I have to stop playback using voice commands and reconnect, which feels unnecessarily clunky.

• Overall, the app feels slow and unresponsive, as if the underlying database or connection is lagging. I migrated from Spotify, and although I prefer Deezer for political, ethical and artist-support reasons, Spotify’s app is noticeably faster, more responsive, and more reliable in terms of user experience, so these things can be done!

• Deezer should aim for more seamless integration with Google ecosystem devices worldwide. Despite multiple attempts and configurations, I have been unable to set Deezer as the default music service reliably within the ecosystem.

• The desktop Windows app does not allow casting at all, which makes the overall experience feel fragmented and disconnected across devices.

Please take these concerns seriously. Based on conversations with other users and discussions online, these issues appear to be common and not isolated experiences.

I have recently signed up to Deezer after being on Spotify for years. It's pretty good but the lack of a queue when casting is really irritating. This is such an obvious and easily solved problem and I can now see that it's been an issue for several years. Really makes me start to wonder if I've made a mistake. Please get on and fix this. Don't want to go back but I will if I have to. I really want to recommend your service but on this evidence, it's not going to happen.

Agreed.

By the way, the only response I have received from Deezer so far points to resetting my network and performing basic troubleshooting steps. Please, Deezer, a little more seriousness to this, I'm an engineer and I've done all types of troubleshooting. Take your customers' opinions seriously and fix all these bugs.
