Dark/Night Mode

DARK MODE WHEN?!!?!?!?!?!??!

Like the app so far and the only thing that I don't like about it that there is not black background or dark mode option. The white background causes my phone battery to die faster. If the background was black then it would look and feel better as well as save me some battery percentage bc of the oled screen for my phone. Other than that, like I said this is a great. I like how the lyrics are available.

Where's the dark theme?

Thinking about switching over from Spotify Premium. This is one of their pro's though. Hope to see this on Deezer soon! Need it in my life!

Only if you send some over here to London 😅 we have devs in Paris but not only, so your order will be too expensive across different countries. They're working on bringing this on, more news to come next month 😉

Are you guys testing Dark Mode on PC too? I'm waiting for this on pc about 2 years. If there's ANY beta test for it I'd love to be part of it.

Yes, we're testing on the desktop app too, but there's no beta for it at the moment. Keep an eye on this topic for more updates in the next few weeks 😉

Switching from Spotify Premium because you guys have proper Lyrics, just wanted to ask for Dark Mode. Glad to see that it's happening 🙂

I find it quite ironic that they went full on white in the meanwhile.

It`s like you guys, the devs, are all retarded. People have been asking for the dark mode for both mobile and desktop version since 2017. And in an era where almost every app is switching to full dark mode, again on both desktop/web/mobile, you guys go in full retard mode and make the app full white. Thank you ! In the last 2 years you proved how much you care for your users. Big FU*K YOU, to you too, dear devs or whoever decide to go full white when everyone is asking for dark.

Sorry you feel that way about our devs. The white background is part of our new image and brand, and we know it might not be of everyone's tastes. But the truth is that it also enables our dark mode to come in smoothly. As we've been working on a new app experience and feel, our dark mode development has been worked hand-in-hand with our brand new look. So it's just a matter of time, and now hopefully a small amount of it. We're running our tests and preparing the rollout. Bear with us a bit longer and we shall not disappoint 😉

What do you think of the dark theme for Deezer? I really miss her ’cause I like to listen to music at night and, in principle, I really like the dark design of the UI. I made the concept page "Home" in a dark theme, what's your meanin’? This is only my vision of a dark theme for Deezer. If you like this idea, I'll make the design and other menus, at your discretion.
