Asio & wasapi support for desktop

Realy ….   3 years left and no ASIO or WASPI support ,????

Lossless without WASAPI is useless. Windows audio mixer will never patch the sample rate and bit depth of your tracks which means you cannot get a bit perfect output, so there is no point. Its a shame because a lot of people will move from Tidal due to MQA issue and Deezer offers a nice UI/UX, but if it cannot do bit perfect, its automatically ruled out for options like Quboz. This should be top priority if you market yourselves as lossless.

Turns out folks have been asking for this for years, but Deezer is hiding something about their “FLAC” and won’t say what.  They just keep saying “we need more votes or we won’t offer true HiFi, just Windows Browser based audio, but pay us more and we will call it “premium”.  Then they go on about the file format being FLAC and the catalogue growing, like that has anything to do with the issue of advertising hifi without the means to connect your DAC without extra noise and sound going through the OS just because Deezer is lazy.  I wanted to like this service, I really did.

Ran away from tidal due to MQA, sad to see lossless without bit perfect.

Would love to have bit perfect output. Can’t say the difference is huge, compared to iTunes with WASAPI, but still...

Would love to have this. Will be a great edge against Deezer’s competitors. A lot of audiophiles are quite technical. An implementation advantage like this in PCs/Macs would be a good thing to put in marketing material.

Hi, currently testing Deezer and Tidal, and I wonder why this option has not been implemented yet. This is important option and would make many people happy.

I don’t understand what the holdup is with this. Now that Spotify failed, it’s a better time than ever to give us a bitperfect desktop app and get ahead of the competition.

Where I live Deezer hifi actually costs more than I’m paying for Tidal hifi plus. Qobuz isn’t available in my country but when it is, if Deezer doesn’t have a bitperfect desktop app, I’ll cancel Deezer and add Qobuz in addition to Tidal.

Please, stop dragging this out. It’s 2022, hifi customers expect bitperfect. Otherwise, we can use Spotify for 5 euros a month...
