I agree with that and it could work also on Desktop/Webapp.
For me this is useful on Android not only because of that, but because one can listen continuous dj mix for one hour plus, and it is extremely impossible to continue as app goes idle after time.
In Podcasts it works fine, they are remembered when you left.
