One suggestion for playlists is that, by default, they should shuffle. Who wants to listen to a playlist in order? It means that every time you hit play, the same song will start playing and eventually, you'll get over that song and even sick of it.
I know you can just press the shuffle button, but this is an extra step and it also applies to when you are playing albums.
I like to listen to albums from beginning to end as intended by the artist. A playlist is different.

We do have this option already. On iOS you just have to tab on "Shuffle play" at the very top of the playlist and on Android tab on the big blue button 😉
Wouldn't it make sense that you could shuffle it for the playlist or favorites you want?
For this i'd say the same thing, we don't need it to play and pause, just turn it into a shuffle button, we're losing the functionality of shuffling when we can just click on the first song and it has the same functionality, and we have the media controls so why not add the functionality of a shuffle/reshuffle button?
This will apply to all playlists and such things rather than all of your music, because what if you just wanted to shuffle that playlist or your favorites? It would be annoying to have to click "listen" or the first song every time and then click the shuffle button and then click next every single time you want to shuffle your music.
Too many clicks, this slims it to a single click.
This applies for the app and browser.
Improvements can always be made, this seems like an easy fix.
