Just click on the little circle on the top right of your profile and then select “Listening History”

Please add a way to see you’re recently played tracks (on the web version). It’d be nice to be able to find all the tracks you listened to in the past days in between browser sessions (I would store it in the account) so that if I’m looking for a song that I’d like to listen to again I can find it.

Why Mac OS app is constantly requesting to be restarted ? 

User defined Tags would really help search on own favorites/playlists, without needing to search individually on each playlist.

Give more contrast to the progress bar colors. Sometimes it’s okay, yellow or red on dark gray. But sometimes it’s just dark green or dark blue on dark gray and eyes must really strain to see the position.

Just a few things for me to make the desktop a very good UI

  • equaliser added to the desktop app on both Windows and Mac
  • when it goes to lyric mode just have the background the same colour as your light / dark theme instead of random colours. If a white background lyrics could be a light grey. 
  • as well as full screen lyric mode it would be good to click the album cover and just have the album art enlarged in the centre of the screen with a white / dark background (as per theme) 
  • On Windows at the top of the screen no matter the theme colour there is a black windows bar which is ok on dark theme but looks terrible with the light theme. Don’t have this issue on Mac.

Just a simple idea, because, at least for me, having the playback controls on the left in Windows app is absolute pain. I’d like it to be centered so I don’t have to move around a huge screen to pause, skip, find in track etc. If you’re worried about the negative space on the left, we could always do with album artwork for example :D

It would be great if the arrow (back and forth) remembered the position of the view… Currently it always goes back to the top of the view, instead to where we left the view.

Hello,

I noticed that one of my request from this thread has been implemented (version 5.30.250):

When you click on Queue button in Windows app it sets position to currently played track even in long queues (currently my queue contains 2060 tracks).

My original request:

Scroll playlist/queue to the position of currently playing track (automatically). I often listen to long playlists (whole discographies - several hours long) and sometimes I have to scroll manually.

I would like to have automatic playlists. 

Little bit like itunes. There is a future to make automatic playlists. Depends on different rules.

For example:

Gerne

Liked or disliked songs.

Length from song.

Years.

Etc etc.

 

When I like a song or add to my library it moves automatically to the playlist where he matching the rules..

 

 

 

This is a feature I miss most, having used it in itunes in a distant past.

adding to the list of parameters: combining multiple playlists.
Also having a bit more control by using ‘or’, ‘and’, ‘not’ logical gates.

In general I’d like a lot more customizability in the app, for example discarding tiles in the main page that are of no interest to the user.

hotkeys are very important. Page forward Page backward are missing. It is very inconvenient to use only the mouse for basic operation. I'm sure a lot of people who use a desktop version will be very happy when this issue is fixed.

So I wrote this in a review of the phone app but I’m pretty sure it applies to the desktop app too.

  1. I have a favourites collection of 3k+ songs, and when I go to add/delete etc. a song to a playlist or remove from favourites it jumps me back to the top of the page EVERY TIME. This makes adding songs to playlists or editing favourites EXTREMELY frustrating and time consuming. It would be much more convenient to have it hold your place.
  2. This is also true when navigating back and forth between pages (like pressing the back button should take you back to where you were on the page not the top)
  3. When navigating a large favourites list it is also frustrating to not have a letter jump/scroll bar on the side. This is especially true on the phone app where you’re scrolling forever to get to the middle letters.

Since I use streaming services mostly to make/share playlists this is kind of a deal breaker for me unfortunately. I like the HQ sound on Deezer and I like Deezer as a company better than Spotify but this stuff makes the app borderline unusable for me at times.

When scrolling backwards it always takes you to the top of the last page and not to the point where you left off... very annoying!

Hi,

There should be a button somewhere near the player that takes you to what you're playing right now. 

"Plays from..."

Sometimes while playing some playlist I browse the app and can't go back to the playlist I'm on.

The queue is something else... it's not what I meant. 

 

Very important.

To clarify, I mean double-clicking on the highlighted section that appears when you hover over a track.

On the Windows Desktop app, for some reason we can’t double-click on a track in a Playlist to play it.

Confoundingly, you *can* double-click on a track name on the Artist Page to make it play. This lack of consistency is frustrating, and easy to fix.

Please allow all tracks in playlists or otherwise to be able to be double-clicked to play.

What happened to the Roku Deezer App I have stuck with Deezer for years resisting Pandora and Spotify to now find Deezer has stopped providing App interface for Roku. I have choices to spend my $$ and will now have to consider where my $$ goes, unless the App is restored for the Roku that was removed during my journey through Europe “during Covid or the Chinese Virus” event. As a developer in your group, I request this function be restored for us “cord cutters” using Roku. Thank you for your time.

The icon of Deezer is a bit larger than other icons, doesn’t follow the MacOS-guidelines. Please shrink it.

Hi,

 

 I’m currently trying to replace my existing paid music streaming service.  I primarily use Windows Desktop and the Android app. Here are my initial thoughts on the Windows Desktop app UI:

 

Pros:

  1. Option for Light/Dark mode
  1. Ease of importing playlists
  1. Ability to opt-out of of data collection
  1. Only 1 missing song from all of my playlists after importing

 

Suggested Improvements:

  1. Playlists should to be accessible from the left sidebar and custom sort-able via drag/drop
  1. Add ability to drag/drop songs into playlists
  1. Volume adjustment should be directly on the main UI and should not require mouse-hovering over an element to appear
  1. X button currently minimizes to tray (heresy). It should CLOSE the app by default.
  1. Do not require use of the Windows App Store.

 All of these features require excess mouse clicks/movements to utilize. It makes everything feel cumbersome when coming from other apps. Unfortunately I saw that suggestion #1 was first seen over 2 years ago and marked as “Not for now”.  This is a deal-breaker for me. #4 was also first suggested years ago and has been dismissed for features users are “more keen for”.

 

I will try again in the future.
