When I play it, sometimes I want to look at the list and see what's coming up next, but for that I have to locate the currently playing song in the list.
This is very hard to do, as the list in the queue is long, and the only indication of the currently playing song is red title text, which is hard to find (I use dark mode). It used to be that the queue would open with the currently playing song at the top, but it doesn't do this now.
So, why not have the currently playing song shown with a distinct background, so the whole line is highlighted and not just the title text?

Have you used the queue to see what is next ?

It's currently not on the plans but this week I was missing that button myself - so I agree it makes total sense to have it. Instead, we currently have to access the queue for that @JohnyV3

So thanks for your feedback, I'll be discussing this further with the teams and will use your comment to leverage a need for this to be looked into

@JohnPower I am talking about the view in the queue

Please allow the use of the “repeat” button when searching for songs, this works on the iOS app as expected, but is missing from the desktop app (grayed out):

Why Mac OS app is constantly requesting to be restarted ?

User defined Tags would really help search on own favorites/playlists, without needing to search individually on each playlist.

Please add a feature to prevent the screen from going to sleep (Desktop app).

My speakers are embedded in the external screen, and I lose playback after a few minutes when the screen goes to sleep.

Not a problem @squirrel that's still good info to share! I'll pass it on and ask you to keep us posted in case the storage space changes for some reason :thumbsup_tone2:

Hello @Weareqpr, yes it’s possible, the gapless has just been integrated to the mobile app, it should soon be available on the desktop app as well  We’ll let you know on the Community once that’s the case.

Have a nice day

When available on Android and Web? And crossfade news?

Hello @hpguru, we’ll let you know once we have the news ourselves

Hi @ArialCCAA, thanks for the honest feedback, we’ll make sure to forward it to the development teams.

Have a lovely day

I asked this sometime ago but they censored me like other times before…
The mac icon in the mac menu bar is in black and white kind of gray

but the windows icon is perfectly in color and I wish this could get fixed?
Its all about the small details nowadays….

I would like to know why my post was literally censored ?

Totally understand what you're coming from @james hifi

This should be an option we can consider after the major updates planned for the app very soon. In the meantime, please register your support by voting here:

I would like to have automatic playlists.

Little bit like itunes. There is a future to make automatic playlists. Depends on different rules.

For example:

Gerne

Liked or disliked songs.

Length from song.

Years.

Etc etc.

When I like a song or add to my library it moves automatically to the playlist where he matching the rules..

This is a feature I miss most, having used it in itunes in a distant past.

adding to the list of parameters: combining multiple playlists.
Also having a bit more control by using ‘or’, ‘and’, ‘not’ logical gates.

In general I’d like a lot more customizability in the app, for example discarding tiles in the main page that are of no interest to the user.

It would be really useful to have the option of sorting unfavourited tracks to the top or bottom to make deletion easier when you have a LOT of tracks in a playlist. Every other column can be sorted the way you want except favourites.

It would also be helpful to actually see disliked tracks marked in the same column, probably with a broken heart, and sort by that too. So that you can, for example, listen to a playlist, dislike some tracks, then save the rest to another playlist.

Hi @Harm133, thank you for sharing your feedback.

Unfortunately, the "repeat" button is not available on the desktop app when searching for songs.

However, I have a workaround to offer: consider adding the music you enjoy to your favorites or a playlist.

This way, you can listen to your preferred tracks as many times as you'd like.

If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to let me know!

Hey guys, did you ever try to drag Deezer window to reposition it on the screen in your shiny new Mac version 6.0?

If the search field is not used, i.e., there is nothing entered in it, and you try to drag the window, it is not obvious where its boundaries are. And only after user enters anything to the search field and can see its boundaries including the clearing control on the right, it becomes clear that drag area is just around the search field.

Search fields should be clearly distinguished right away, otherwise user is confused and cannot drag the window as easily as in any other good Mac app.

Glad it's working @SteveWired :relaxed:

Now we just need to fix the Bluetooth commands for the app :call_me_tone2:

I’ve just heard the advert for kid ink for the 3rd time in about 30 minutes.  This genre so so far removed from whet I listen to I find the advert impossible to listen to.  Rather than persuading me to subscribe, it’s had the opposite effect and I am going to listen to another app instead.

I love the Deezer app, but the ads are becoming too invasive too loud and too often.

The “Discography” should show the discography- that’s what I’m looking for on that tab! If I want to find top tracks I’ll go to “Top Tracks”. If I want to find similar artists or playlists, I’ll click on those tabs. If developers want to have an overview with as much random stuff crammed in, maybe make an “Overview” tab.

Hey @Gaffer13 can you please share a screenshot of the available tracks and the ones with a calendar icon in order to investigate and pass the feedback to our music team?
Thanks

Here it is:

It’s probably new and/or rare. The first time I see this on Deezer. Other services do have this.

One option deezer does not have is a volume control button. I would like to listen to background music as I'm studying, working, or reading. And some of the work involves audio - e.g. videos or read out text. Deezer volume is the same as the computer master volume. I need to keep work videos loud and read text clear, and deezer bg music lower, but currently can't do that. I end up closing the app or switching to Spotify. Please add volume control to all platforms - Windows, Android, Chromebook (a custom version could help for Chromebook - Google Chromebooks have an identity crisis between Android, Google, Linux, PC...). Thanks

~Laith

Hi, Laith @Abulluyouth

Thanks for reaching out.

Our desktop app does have a volume slider for you to set a different volume than the system one. What version of our app do you have?

Amazing feedback @tyllerj @Andrey Nikolaev

You're true fans of the desktop app like me!

@Andrey Nikolaev

Number 2 and 3 seem like essential features. Number 1 sounds pretty cool, so can I ask you to create a topic for votes in the ideas section here?

It should remember the zoom, I agree @tyllerj

I'll pass everything on now. Have a great week!

@studilaroche33 that's the menu bar on Macs, so yes - I use Brave too, by the way
