Why the constant updates and restarts?

I’ts now almost everytime I open the deezer app that there’s a banner telling me to restart for an update and after the update there’s no change, or at least not a change that I can notice. Why is that?
All I want to do is listen to music or podcasts but I’m no longer sure I have the patience for this disruptive behaviour. I left Spotify for Deezer because Spofity is just a greedy, unethical company and to my knowledge, Deezer was the only other European option at the time. Thats no longer the case and though I much rather stay with Deezer, that change is nowjust one click away. Looking forward to hear why this keep happening and if there is something I can do about it.

Edit, this post was triggered by an update and right after writing it there was yet another prompt for and uclear update and restart, are mocking me Deezer 🤔
