Hi All,
I noticed that Deezer app reduces quality od my music to standard quite frequently.
I was changing it to the highest level multiple Times already but after some time it is again standard.

How to change it so I dont have to go to settings all the time?

Thank you
Rafal

I think it’s a bug . You are not the first that mention this .

Are you on the latest version ? Beta or release ?

I'm using standard version 9.26.0.3

Is it something that can be highlighted to Deezer? I'm not sure how to do that....

Hello @RafalK!

Based on the information you provided, could you please perform these troubleshooting steps:

  • Open the Deezer app ➡ Gearwheel in the top right corner ➡ Storage & CacheClear All
  • On the same page, under Smart Cache, slide the button towards the middle of the line.
  • Stream a few songs and navigate in the app

⚠ Your Downloaded music on Deezer will be deleted, but you can easily download your favourite playlists and albums from your Favourites.

If the issue continues,

  • Delete the Deezer app
  • Restart your iOS device
  • Download and install the Deezer app from AppStore
  • Stream a few songs and navigate in the app

If after you still have the issue, please wait for the next app version and should be fine.

Have a great day! 😊

Thanks Johnathan,
I will folkowy your guidelines and see if that helped...

If you have a Family account don’t bother with the troubleshooting. It’s a feature, not a bug. Dark pattern.

This is made worse now that they’ve jacked up the price and promising “hi fi” quality. Useless if it reverts to standard constantly.
