playlists/new music/subscribing

What I find most offputting about Deezer is that instead of putting new weekly playlists from those I repeatedly listen to, Deezer fill my ‘new releases for you’ with garbage I don’t want to hear and when I search on, for example, ASOT episode 1269 and pull up the playlist, press play on the first song on that playlist, it doesn’t stay with that playlist.  Three great problems that shouldn’t happen in the first place.  If I subscribe to someone, their new stuff is what should be first (or at least somewhere) in “new releases for you”.  This has not improved with time, as I thought it would.  Algorithms have not improved it.  Subscribe is apparently a meaningless feature.  Clicking on the person to whom one subscribes doesn’t give playlists in any sensible order (chronological would be nice).  New playlists are often difficult to find.  Then when you find that list, you may or may not be able to actually stick with it.  I’ve tried to get help from Copilot to find settings or a way of straightening this out, at least a little.  Any hints would be appreciated.

Hi @mp2dtw

I’m sure that the artists you’ve favored don’t have a new release every week, so Deezer’s algorithm analyzes your musical taste to recommend new releases from similar, lesser-known artists.
