Playlist skips back tracks upon unlocking phone

Which version of the deezer app do you have installed?
You may have to set up additional permissions for deezer in the system settings.
Please take a screenshot of ‘Data & Storage’ (in settings of the deezer app).
Are you using a SD card?

I'm having the same problem, with version 7.0.9.22. I'll listen to several songs with the phone locked, unlock it and it skips back several songs. 

I'm using a Samsung S22 Ultra, Android v12.

Same problem ever since upgrading to Android 12. No fixes?

Hi @OldDeezer @Ciarans33 @RedOmen666 could you please update your Deezer app to the latest version (7.0.13.54) and let us know if the problem persists?

@Jaime. just cleared all cache, reinstalled the app, and rebooted my phone per this post 

I’m pretty sure I already had the latest app version but I definitely do now after reinstall. I’ll see what happens over the next day or so and report back to you my findings.

@Jaime. the problem persists. It may have stopped for a day or two, but it’s definitely happening now. From what I’ve found online, many Android models are having this problem.

For what it’s worth, I feel like mine started acting up when my phone updated to Android 12. Do we need to submit a ticket or is the Support team already aware of this issue?

Hey @OldDeezer I am sorry to hear that. We do have a similar ticket already in support so our devs are aware of the problem.
However, could you confirm if it happens with Flow only?

I have seen the same happening on my RedMi with Android 11. It just jumps to another song

@Jaime. After testing on and off throughout the week, the problem seems to be specific to Flow.

@Jaime. I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this part, but the worst part of this glitch is that the music starts playing when you unlock the phone. In other words, even if your player was paused, Deezer not only goes back to an earlier point in the queue, it UNPAUSES your player and starts playing music.

So I’ll be playing music in the car, pause it, turn off the car. I get out to unlock my phone and turn off my bluetooth, the player goes back and starts playing. If I forget to unlock my phone getting out of the car, it will just start playing the next time I unlock my phone which might be in a restaurant or at work!

This urgently needs fixing or I will have to switch platforms at some point. I love Deezer but this problem is just not one I can live with forever.

I came here for the same reason.  I have the latest update and it’s still doing it.
