Play/Pause media key shortcut not working

Hello @neoraptor123, I can’t reproduce this on my dell laptop, 

what pc are you using?

I have this issue as well. It’s essential for me to use media buttons when Deezer is in background.

Or I have to go back to green app.

OH DAMN!
I found the reason. When green app is on background, it blocks Deezer to get multimedia button signals.
Exit any other multimedia apps or browser windows that has multimedia (youtube etc.)

I’m using MacOS 15.7 and have a similar problem. The media keys don’t seem to be wired up in the mac app so nothing runs. I’ve uninstalled the green app.

I’ve had to create a script mapped to play/pause that switches focus to Deezer, triggers the “space” keyboard shortcut to toggle play/pause and then switches focus back to what I was doing.

Same here. I got keyboard with multimedia keys combo (FN + F7 is play/pause) and it is not working on WINDOWS 10. No other multimedia runing in background, browsers have disabled running in background. It is frustrating to use. I can pause, but cannot resume playback

Same here. Just switched to Deezer this week and cannot resume a playback using the media keys. Using Logitech G915 and W11. I can pause a playback, but cannot resume it even with everything else closed. Between this and the smart connect feature removed (why???) i’ll just move to another service if nothing changes / no news in the coming days 

I think I found the trigger. It's also on win11.

So when you fresh launch the system (no fastboot), it works as expected - play/pause key works.

It all start to fall apart when you launch browser, browse internet, maybe launch YT video and close the browser.

Fun fact - it is not present on Linux (fedora).
