Notifications from artists I did not like?

I agree that it is so inconsistent, it seems that I'll get notifications for any artist that I've added to a playlist, for example I can say that Galantis has been added to my party playlist for when I have friends round, but I know for a fact that I have never liked the artist page or the songs because I don't really listen to their stuff. As @Yoshendi said I'm not prepared to go through every artist I don't like to stop notifications, it would be so easy to add preferences and options to the notifications to only have *actual* favourited artists, so I really don't understand why this can't be added.

So it’s like Facebook will show you in the feed all the updates from people you say “hello” once instead of your friends only. I don’t use FB a lot, may be it already happened) but at least it will be reasonable to give a user possibility to disable that option.

Hi everyone, like Yula already said in the previous posts, our teams are doing some tests to improve the algorithm that sends notifications. 

 

That's not the issue, we want to have the opportunity to turn the algorithm off - we should be able to have that option so that we can have more tailored user experiences, not sure what's wrong with having that flexibility for Deezer's users/customers???

The option to turn the algorithm off is not available on the Deezer app.
Nevertheless, you can turn your information in as an idea here on the Community and wait if your suggestion gets votes on it.

So, the only way to get notifications back to normal is to make an official suggestion? That sounds backwards and unnecessarily complicated...

Still facing this behavior of having non-liked artists in release notifications, it's frustrating.
