lyrics button

Android, basicly if you click anywhere on the album cover it opens the lyrics.

If you swipe side to side it changes track.

If you swipe sideways skipping tracks most of the time it skips tracks but if you fail to swipe far enough it opens the lyrics by mistake witch is annoying

Hey there @Jay Thompson! If you skip pressing on the button or not holding on the album too long, you can skip without opening lyrics. 

Yes i no it skips track if you don't hold it to long. My point is i always hold it 2 long or hold it still by mistake.

There is no reason it needs to asume you want lyrics when you haven't pressed the lyrics button. The vast majority of your users are not likly to ever open the lyrics at all they will just listen tobthe sound and therefore wouldent want the lyrics randomly opening all the time

I agree, it's a problem. When I'm driving and want to skip a song, swiping is safer than having to look at the phone to press the button, but half the time it launches the lyrics instead, and coming back is even trickier. You want to skip a song and you end up stuck with it, it's very annoying.
