To find a friend - a Deezer subscriber- I had to type-in their 10 digit “user ID” number. Why was I unable to find them by typing-in their user name?
(Who knows / why would anyone bother remembering their 10 digit user id? It’s an ineffective / non intuitive way of finding a user.)

On Desktop Deezer app you can search Deezer user by name .
Just type name of user in search and in Profiles find right name .

I can’t find the user using username OR user ID. This should be easier. Both give no search results, and I have wasted a lot of time on this.
