If I’m listening in shuffle (for example, my favourite tracks) but I then search for an album and click play, the shuffle mode should reset automatically.

Hi @rinzewind I could not reproduce the issue on my side. Could you please share a video reproducing it on your side in order to help you?
Thanks

Just to be clear: this is using the web client. In summary: if shuffle mode is enabled, clicking “Play” on an album doesn’t reset it. I feel it should, but that’s just convenience for me.

I’ve tested on my side and when I click on an album this one starts playing… I not sure I understand what you mean with “reset it”.
Thanks

@Jaime.Deezer:

I tried the same thing as @rinzewind and I’m experiencing the same issue.

  • I play a playlist on shuffle.

  • Then I want to listen to an album.

  • I start the album.

  • It begins with the first track of the album, but shuffle remains enabled.

  • The next track is not the second track of the album, but another random track from the same album.

I tested this in the Windows Deezer app. This does not happen in the iOS Deezer app — there, shuffle resets automatically and the album plays in the correct order.

Thanks @awesomemac I Understand now and I believe this is normal behaviour. However I have reported it to our devs and as soon as I hear back from them I’ll let you know.
