Can I turn off "Recommended" when playing a playlist?

Using the free version, I generally play my own playlists - but it really annoys me that after three or four songs, Deezer starts playing “Recommended” tracks that are not in my playlist - and not just one, but four, five, six... The reason I have playlists is that I want to choose what I listen to, and these recommendations ruin it. I could maybe understand one, and then they could give me an advert if I click Next - but not so many that I run out of Nexts and have to switch to another playlist…

Hey @LDavidH

Sorry about it.

To remove that you must have the paid account, as the free account is with some limitations like this one. 😐

Take care.

And do you know how to remove it if I have the premium version?

With Premium it doesn't do it - then it just plays the playlist straight through as it should.

I mean, when you play one single song and once this song is over you have like 100 other songs that you don't want to hear but are recomendations!

Yes there's definitely a switch for that but I can't look for it now as I don't have premium!

Hi @AlfonsoSaGo @LDavidH, unfortunately the option to turn off Automated Recommendations is only available in Web and Desktop app.

@Leonídia.Deezer thank you! If I turn it off in the web, will it be off in my cellphone too??? Or doesnt work like that?

No, unfortunately that's not how it works - they're separate apps. So nowadays I basically only use the desktop version - then I can also play albums and playlists unshuffled!

@LDavidH oh that's pity!!! Thank you so much for answer my questions!!!

5 months later...Any update on this? Can you turn off on iOS app yet? I do not see anything in the app settings.
