Browser streaming has different behaviors

At work I have to use deezer in a browser tab (I’m using Chrome on a windows 11 laptop) and it behaves differently in some areas than the phone app and the desktop app.

Biggest things that feel like bugs are when I use shuffle and start one of my playlists, it always starts with the first song of the playlist and will shuffle afterwards. This leads to me starting the playlist then immediately skipping the first song since I don’t want to listen to it every single time I start the playlist.

The other is when starting and album or an artists top songs, shuffle stays on, but on mobile/desktop app it turns off.

I definitely prefer how the mobile/desktop app behaves over the browser behavior. I imagine this is a bug since its consistent on the apps and feels like a weird thing to make unique to the browser.

Hi @AveryPossum !

Deezer automatically syncs your playlists, added songs, and favorites across all your devices via the cloud. However, shuffle settings and play queues do not sync perfectly.
Shuffle is applied on a per-device basis, meaning you will need to activate it manually on each device.

To avoid playing the first song on the playlist in shuffle mode, try tapping or clicking any random song in the playlist and then turn on shuffle.
