audiobooks categorie doesn't load (NL)

When I try to either browse or search for audio books whether this is in the web browser or in the android app I get the message that it cannot load or my connection isn't working.

If Deezer audiobooks are not loading, the issue is likely related to connectivity, cache, or content availability. 

 

1. Connectivity Issues:

  • Check your internet connection: Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or try restarting your modem/router. 
  • Deezer is offline: If Deezer displays "Deezer is offline", ensure your device's flight mode is off and you're not experiencing a general internet outage. 

2. Cache Problems:

  • Clear Deezer's cache: Go to Settings > Data and storage > Disk usage and tap "Clear all".
  • Clear browser cache (if using web version): Refer to your browser's settings for clearing cache (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari). 

3. Content Availability:

  • Check region availability:

    Audiobooks on Deezer are primarily available in Germany, Netherlands, and Austria. Outside of these countries, they may only be accessible via search and may have limited content. 

  • Greyed-out content:

    If content is greyed out, it may indicate that it's unavailable in your region or has become unavailable due to licensing changes. 

4. Other Potential Issues:

  • App updates: Ensure Deezer is updated to the latest version. 
  • Security settings: Check for any firewall or security settings that might be blocking Deezer. 
  • Re-subscribe (if applicable): If you're having trouble with downloaded music, ensure your Deezer subscription is active, as downloaded music is typically tied to premium access. 
  • Restart device: Sometimes, a simple device restart can resolve playback issues.
