Song/Artist/Album isn't on Deezer - What happens if I can't find the music I want?

If you can’t find it is because streaming rights are  defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it.

There something strange with the artist Jestofunk.

There’s no Discography. If we search album by album, we can find at least three of their albums.

Why doesn’t the discography section exist?

why  some Disxography isn't on Deezer. ? Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on Deezer . We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed.

The artist in question, Jestofunk, has several albums in Deezer (added below).
So I assume it’s not related to rights.
But these albums are not sorted as part of the artist discography.

In fact, this band has no Discography section.

I thought the Discography section was somehow generated automatically if an artist has albums in the platform.
 

I was digging deeper, and I see that the albums are not in a Discography section, as I expected.

But, in the Browser App, if I go below, after Similar artists > Appears in… > …​​​​​​
And then, after a good scrolling, there is a “More albums” section… And there they are…

I’m also using the iPad as well as the Android App, and this section of “More albums” is not in there…

is there a reason the albums appear as More albums, and not as Discography?
And these albums are almost impossible to reach in the Apps (unless you search for the specific title)…

yes ,you’re right there is no albums in Discography sorted in artist section ALBUMS , but you can find them if you know title of album .

maybe @Jaime. Community Manager can help to organize that and sort Discography in Albums ,Singles etc. 
I don't have that possibility .

@Nina Nebo  @Jamie  This is probably not such big deal because most of the artists are not affected by this.
But maybe there’s an opportunity where the Deezer team could improve on these two issues; the way the Discography section is built, and the section “More albums” to be available in the Apps as well.

This is misleading and wrong. 😕

From their 9 studio albums, only 4 are in the list:

The other 5 are in Deezer but can only be found by searching… 

Sorry to insist on this, but as a customer I believe it should be fixed, right?

Hello @Valdemar Pereira de Matos thanks for bringing this up. Indeed the reason why you were not find the albums under discography was because they are not consider as official in our system. 

Now all is sorted for both artist:

Jestofunk https://www.deezer.com/es/artist/2601
