Not sure how long to expect it could take to get the Polish KIWI separated out from all of the other Kiwi(s), or if I should have included more info? But the poster above me seems to have had their profile issue sorted, both my comment and theirs from 6 days ago.

Does the Deezer catalog database have a field for “composers?”

I ask, because often the “performing artist” and the “composer” (the person who originally wrote the music) are different people.

I’m thinking of someone who covers a Beatles song. The singer would be the “performing artist” (or maybe call it the performer) and the “composer” would be Lennon/McCartney, Harrison, etc.

With classical music, lacking a composer is a big mess. Many, many performers, orchestras, and conductors have recorded many  “classical” composers works, eg Bach, Beethoven and such. But if you search, you often won’t get works for the composer because their names aren’t in the title or not listed as the artist. 

(Heck come to think of it, even Beatles songs would be “composed” by Lennon/McCartney or Harrison or Starky and “performed” by the Beatles. But I’m after more obscure artists where things get confusing.)

Chris Turner is a popular name apparently, but the genres vary from comedy to metal. 

Two easy ones re:  very popular artists -

And this - https://www.deezer.com/us/artist/14788305 - is a stray page with a few Linkin Park tracks, to be incorporated into their main profile.

Plus:  there is a ‘70s Australian prog-rock band called Bakery.  Their two albums -

One of those situations where the confusion arises from inconsistent use of "the," akin to Misfits v the Misfits.
